Eric Kiesel
Grand Poo-bah/Graphic Designer/JanitorBorn and raised just outside of Chicago, Eric followed his calling to the mountains in 2004 when he packed up his family and left a successful management consulting career to become the third owner of Half Price Tees in Durango, Colorado. Half Price Tees has experienced sales growth every year under Eric's leadership - even during the difficult recession years of 2008-2011. Eric even kept Half Price Tees growing after a devastating fire destroyed their entire location in 2008. The company reopened just two weeks later in a alternative location and was delivering custom apparel orders. An avid athlete, Eric spends his winters skiing and summers hiking in the majestic San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. He is a volunteer Adaptive Ski Instructor with the Adaptive Sports Association at Purgatory Ski Area specializing in mono and bi-ski disciplines. He has been married to his business partner, Kay, since 1989. They have two children, Garrett and Zoe.
